This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Monte Rite. The trail is 9.559 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 604 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 43 minutes to complete.
As you start the hike, you will pass by some interesting points of interest along the way. About 0.19 kilometers from the start, you will come across S. Maria Assunta wayside shrine and a parking area. Further along the trail at 0.11 kilometers, you will find Rifugio Remauro, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
At around 3.73 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Forcella Deona, a saddle with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Nearby, at 3.98 kilometers, you can explore the historic ex Caserma Monte Rite castle.
As you continue your journey, be sure to stop by the Adrenalin Park, an attraction located at 0.14 kilometers from the start. For those interested in history, you can visit the Passo Cibiana saddle at 0.14 kilometers and the wayside shrine at 0.86 kilometers.
At the turnaround point of the hike, about 4.78 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Rite. Take in the breathtaking views before heading back along the same trail to complete the out-and-back route.
