This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to Monte Novarza, offering stunning views and challenging terrain.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a 14.825-kilometer journey with a total elevation gain of 1036 meters. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take approximately 6 hours to complete.
Along the way, you will pass by several water sources, so you can refill your water bottles if needed. These water sources are located at varying distances from the trail, with the closest one being at around 16 meters away.
As you make your way towards Monte Novarza, you will encounter Forcella Ielma, a saddle located about 5.19 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along, you will also reach Monte Torondon, a peak situated 5.66 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the hike, you will come across Forcella Novarza, another saddle, followed by Monte Novarza, the ultimate destination of this challenging trek. At the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
