This hiking route will take you to the Rotenflue area, offering stunning views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.825 kilometers and an elevation gain of 145 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area at 0.61 kilometers from the trailhead, followed by the Passhöhe Ibergeregg restaurant at 0.55 kilometers. You can take a break or enjoy a meal at the Alpwirtschaft Zwäcken restaurant around the midway point of the hike, approximately 1.91 kilometers from the start.

For nature enthusiasts, the Müsliegg and Stägleren viewpoints offer picturesque scenery at 2.26 and 2.85 kilometers respectively. If you're looking for a thrilling experience, check out the Rotenfluh Startplatz 1 free flying site at 3.79 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

Near the turnaround point, you'll find the Berggasthaus Rotenfluh restaurant at 3.89 kilometers, where you can refuel before heading back. Along the trail, there are benches and information points for resting and learning more about the area.
