This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Elferkogel peak, offering breathtaking views along the way. The 13.826-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 1328 meters and is expected to take around 6 and a half hours to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find parking facilities available nearby, as well as the Smaragdhotel Tauernblick restaurant for a quick bite before you begin your adventure. As you make your way through the route, you'll come across the Bergschmied restaurant, offering another opportunity to refuel and take in the surrounding beauty.

Approximately 6.91 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Elferkogel peak, where you can marvel at the panoramic views before retracing your steps back to the starting point. Along the trail, there are also shelter facilities available for hikers to rest and take shelter if needed.

It's important to note that this hike is challenging due to its length and significant elevation gain, so make sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear.
