This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Breitkopf. The total distance of the trail is 16.93 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1549 meters, so be prepared for a challenging hike.

About 7.21 kilometers from the start, you'll find the beautiful Karsee, a perfect spot to take in the scenic views and maybe even take a break. Continuing on, you'll pass by Smaragdhotel Tauernblick, where you can stop for a meal and recharge before tackling the remaining distance.

As you trek further, you'll encounter Bergschmied restaurant around 0.49 kilometers from the start, providing another opportunity to rest and refuel. Additionally, there are several parking areas available at different points along the trail to leave your vehicle.
