This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Wytlouwihoren peak in Switzerland. The trail is 5.141 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 538 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Jägerstübli restaurant, perfect for a post-hike meal. Just a short distance away, you'll find the Parkplatz Lägerstutz parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Along the trail, you'll also come across informative signs providing interesting tidbits about the area.

As you make your way up the trail, you'll reach the Augstmatthorn peak at around 2.35 kilometers, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you'll finally reach the highlight of the hike, the Wytlouwihoren peak at 2.57 kilometers. This is the perfect spot to rest and take in the stunning vistas before heading back.

Throughout the hike, there are several drinking water stations conveniently located along the trail to keep you hydrated. Additionally, there is a picnic site with BBQ facilities at a short distance from the trail, making it a great spot for a break.

Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. This hike is best suited for experienced hikers due to its length and elevation gain.
