This challenging 8.413-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Piz Bioch area. The trail offers a total elevation gain of 439.0 meters and a duration of approximately 3 hours and 2 minutes.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will first pass by Ütia Boconara 1927, a restaurant located just 0.14 kilometers from the start where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. As you continue on the trail, you will come across Ütia Piz Arlara, a restaurant situated 2.64 kilometers into the hike, offering a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the panoramic views.
Midway through the hike, at around 3.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach i Tablà, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can replenish your energy supplies. Further along the trail, you will encounter Ütia de Bioch, another restaurant located 4.02 kilometers from the start, providing a great opportunity to refuel before reaching your final destination.
Throughout the hike, you will have the chance to admire the natural beauty of the area, including peaks such as Piz Arlara and Piz Bioch. Although Ütia la Brancia and a historic wayside cross are located off the trail, they are also interesting points of interest worth exploring if you have extra time.
As this is a difficult hike with significant elevation gain, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
