This difficult 7.734-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Hochetzkogel peak. The trail begins at Tourengeher parking lot, where you should make sure to have plenty of water and snacks for the journey. As you start your hike, you will pass by Rosi´s Sonnbergstuben restaurant, a great spot to grab a meal before or after your adventure.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Oberaigen restaurant, where you can take in the beautiful views and recharge for the rest of the journey. Further along the trail, you will come across BichlAlm restaurant, offering a perfect place to rest and refuel.

The route will take you through diverse terrain, with a total elevation gain of 536 meters. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Once you reach the summit of Hochetzkogel, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.
