This hiking route is located in a beautiful area known as Wolfsbuckstrasse. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 2.426 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Engeweiher parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, about midway through your hike, you will reach the Gretzenacker information point and parking lot. Here, you can take a moment to rest and learn more about the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will find the picturesque Wolfsbuck, a natural water feature perfect for a refreshing break. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Lahnbuck information point and the various bench and picnic facilities along the way to enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
