This hiking route in the Bukovac area is an extremely difficult 14.384-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1898 meters, taking an estimated 8 hours and 4 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find a parking area conveniently located. Just 0.02 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Konoba Panorama, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before tackling the challenging trail ahead. As you progress along the route, you'll reach the peak of Šćirovac at 4.76 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at around 7.19 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Bukovac peak, marking the halfway point of your journey. Make sure to stop and admire the scenery before heading towards Mandlova Ploča viewpoint at 1.86 kilometers from Bukovac. Here, you can take in the stunning views before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
Along the way, you may also encounter the ruins of Topića staje at 2.54 kilometers from the start. As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the peaks of Ćorlina (5.3 kilometers from the start) and Zec (5.59 kilometers from the start) for more stunning views of the Bukovac area.
