This hiking route in the Zec area offers a challenging but rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The trail spans approximately 10.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1383 meters, making it an extremely difficult trek that will take around 5 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking space near the trailhead, hikers will make their way through the picturesque landscape, passing by notable points of interest along the route. About midway through the hike, you will come across the Šćirovac peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you continue on, don't miss the Mandlova Ploča viewpoint, which provides a stunning vantage point to rest and take in the scenic beauty of the surroundings. Further along the trail, you may also spot the ruins of Topića staje, a historic site that adds an element of intrigue to the journey.
The trail culminates at the Ćorlina and Zec peaks, where hikers can enjoy a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views before heading back the way they came.
