Welcome to the Buchkogel hiking route! This moderate 6.335-kilometer circular trail offers an elevation gain of 289 meters and a duration of approximately 2 hours and 11 minutes.

The route starts at the parking area located at the trailhead. As you begin your hike, you will come across the Jakobi Runde Gaaden bench about 1.79 kilometers into the trail, offering a nice resting spot with a view. Continuing onwards, at around 1.8 kilometers, you will find an information point providing insights about the area.

About 2.82 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Buchkogel peak, a natural highlight of the trail, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, at 0.8 kilometers from the start, you can explore the Koblingerhöhle cave entrance, adding an element of adventure to your journey.

On the way back, around 1.83 kilometers from the start, you will find the Drei Eichen picnic site, perfect for a break and enjoying some snacks surrounded by nature. Additionally, there are various informational points scattered throughout the route, providing interesting facts about the area.
