This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 17.588-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 558 meters to Lac de la Madeleine. The trail begins at the parking area, situated 0.0 kilometers from the start. As you venture forth, you'll come across the ruins of historic sites like La Taque, with a distance of 5.57 kilometers from the start, and other ruins scattered along the way, such as those 3.72 kilometers from the beginning.

Midway through your trek, you'll encounter Lac des Cordes, a natural water feature located 7.86 kilometers from the start. Closer to your final destination is Lac de la Madeleine, another beautiful water body situated 8.79 kilometers from the trailhead.
