This extremely difficult 23.302-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Monte del Gelo area. The trail offers an elevation gain of 1878.0 meters and is estimated to take around 10 hours and 5 minutes to complete.
As you embark on your journey, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. About 10.11 kilometers from the start, you'll come across some historic ruins. Further along at 10.07 kilometers, more historic ruins can be found. Additionally, at 11.65 kilometers, there's the magnificent peak known as Monte del Gelo. Ensure to stay on the trail to witness these marvelous sights.
While some points of interest may be slightly off the trail, like the Monte Serosine peak at 11.1 kilometers, others such as Passo Serosine and Bocca Frontale offer fascinating natural saddles right on the path. A viewpoint awaits you at 0.03 kilometers from the start, allowing you to capture breathtaking scenic views. Don't forget to pack essentials like water, snacks, and appropriate gear as you may not encounter facilities such as picnic sites until 0.27 kilometers into the hike.
