This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route in the Lehrpfad area offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With a total distance of 15.739 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1458 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the parking area, you will embark on your journey through the picturesque terrain. Around 7.87 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a refreshing water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. As you continue, at 1.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach a stunning viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Around the midway point of 5.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Ratschinger Scharte - Sella di Racines, a notable saddle along the trail. Approximately 2.12 kilometers from the start, a mesmerizing waterfall awaits to captivate your senses.

Although off the trail, the Schölzhornhof restaurant is located nearby for a well-deserved break. Additionally, you will come across various points of interest such as information posts and benches along the way, providing opportunities to rest and learn more about the area.

Remember to bring an ample water supply and snacks, as this challenging hike may take around 7 hours to complete. It is essential to check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
