This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and moderate difficulty. The total distance of the hike is approximately 6.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 490 meters, so be prepared for some uphill sections.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Taubensteinbahn parking lot, which is located right at the beginning of the route. As you continue along the trail, you will come across the "Am See" parking area, providing a convenient spot for those arriving by car.

About midway through the hike, you will reach the Obere Maxlraineralm restaurant and alpine hut. This is a great place to take a break, enjoy a meal, and soak in the surrounding mountain views. The hut is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Along the trail, you will also find benches for resting and an information point for learning more about the area. Additionally, there is a beach area not far from the trail, perfect for a refreshing stop during warmer days.

As this is a circular route, you will eventually make your way back to the starting point. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out. The terrain can be uneven at times, so sturdy hiking shoes are recommended.
