Welcome to the ehem. NVA Grenzweg hiking route! This moderate 5.14-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a delightful excursion through the stunning natural beauty of the area.

As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a convenient parking area. As you continue, at around 0.6 kilometers into the hike, there is a peaceful bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Around 0.04 kilometers into the hike, there is another bench where you can relax and soak in the tranquil ambiance. Additionally, there is an information point nearby for those interested in learning more about the area.

As you venture further along the trail, at approximately 0.16 kilometers in, you will encounter another bench to take a break or simply admire the views. As you continue your ascent, make sure to visit the Staufelsberg peak located around 1.97 kilometers into the hike, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 2.57 kilometers, you will reach another peak, providing even more stunning vistas. If you feel hungry or in need of a refreshment, there is a restaurant located approximately 0.04 kilometers from the trail.

Lastly, around 0.04 kilometers from the trail, there is a charming fountain where you can replenish your water supply. The trail offers a total elevation gain of 109 meters, so be prepared for a moderately challenging hike.
