As you start your journey, you will find a parking area just 0.1 km from the trailhead, allowing for easy access to the starting point. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike, as the nearest water source is approximately 4.55 km from the trail.

About 0.21 km into the hike, you'll come across Hôtel du barrage, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Continuing on, at 1.18 km, you'll find Le Choucas, a cozy bar where you can unwind and soak in the stunning surroundings.

As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at 3.69 km, you'll encounter Cabane de Prafleuri, an alpine hut offering accommodation for those looking to extend their adventure. This is a great place to take a break and admire the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

At around 3.76 km, you'll reach an information point providing insights into the area's history and wildlife. Just a short distance away, you'll find another information point at 3.76 km, near Cabane de Prafleuri.

As you make your way back, at 1.16 km, you'll pass by Barrage de la Dixence, a picturesque dam that's perfect for photo opportunities. Don't forget to fill up your water bottles at the fountain located 0.07 km from the trail.
