This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Montagne de Bange in the picturesque area. The trail spans 6.958 kilometers with an elevation gain of 673 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Parking des Combes, where you can leave your vehicle and start your hike. About 1.41 kilometers into the trail, you'll come across the Refuge Pierre Bouvard, providing a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Along the way, you'll encounter several natural springs such as Les Daudes and Le Rosset, offering fresh drinking water to replenish your supply. Information points like Vers les Sources and Les Grangettes will provide insights into the area's history and natural landmarks.
Around the midway point of the trail, you'll find the Col de la Cochette information point and the Abri des Granges du Col de la Cochette shelter, where you can rest and refuel before continuing your ascent towards Montagne de Bange.
