This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Zettenalpstrasse area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. With a distance of 12.039 kilometers and an elevation gain of 728 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, located just 23 meters from the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 6.02 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source to refill your bottles and stay hydrated.
A restaurant called Gasthof Schneehas is situated 0.22 kilometers from the start of the trail, providing a great spot to grab a meal before or after your trek. Along the way, you will also encounter several information points offering insights into the area's history and landmarks.
As you continue on, you will pass by Gasthaus Säge, another restaurant located about 0.01 kilometers from the trail. This is a good place to take a break and refuel before heading back.
