This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mittlerer Hirlatz. With a total distance of 16.657 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1659 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult and is estimated to take around 8 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the route, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. As you continue onwards, about 5.42 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Tiergartenhütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Moving further along the trail, you will encounter the Simonydenkmal memorial located about 0.12 kilometers from the trail. As you reach the 3.62 kilometers mark, Jagerrast viewpoint offers a stunning vista for you to admire. Continuing the hike, at around 1.1 kilometers away from the starting point, you will find a waterfall known as Waldbachstrub.
Throughout the journey, you will also come across various facilities such as benches and springs to rest and rehydrate. It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and a packed lunch. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before heading out is essential for a safe hiking experience.
