Welcome to the hiking route to Muttekopfhütte! This moderate 4.78-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 355 meters will take you through the beautiful alpine landscape.

The trail starts at a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About 160 meters into the hike, you'll find an information point followed by another one around 240 meters from the start.

As you continue your ascent, at the 0.64-kilometer mark, you'll reach Latschenhütte, a cozy restaurant where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your adventure. Further along the trail, at about 2.39 kilometers, you'll encounter Muttekopfhütte, an alpine hut offering a place to rest and enjoy some local cuisine. The hut also has a website and phone number for more information.

For nature enthusiasts, there is a zoo called Wollys & Tollys Almzoo located approximately 200 meters from the start of the trail. Additionally, you'll find a rock formation known as Latschenturm at the 0.38-kilometer mark, adding to the scenic beauty of the hike.

Remember to bring enough water, especially on warm days, and check the weather forecast before you head out. The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
