This hiking route is set in a scenic area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type route, leading to the destination of Para da Giai.

As you embark on this 7.813-kilometer journey, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. Around 1.48 kilometers from the start, you'll come across an information point. Further along at 1.83 kilometers, there is another informational spot for you to explore.

For those looking to take a break and enjoy the surroundings, benches are conveniently located at different points along the trail. You'll find benches at 0.46, 0.71, and 1.36 kilometers from the start. These provide a great opportunity to rest and take in the beauty of the area.

At 0.49 kilometers, there is a historic wayside cross known as St. Franziskus, adding a cultural element to your hike. Additionally, a picnic site is situated right at the beginning of the trail, perfect for a pre-hike snack or a post-hike meal.

As you make your way to Para da Giai, be sure to stay hydrated and bring enough water for the duration of the hike. Given the 583.0 meters of elevation gain and a duration of approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, this is considered a difficult trail.
