Located in the heart of the mountains, this extremely difficult 10.365-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1241 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the stunning landscape towards the Finailhof restaurant, where you can fuel up before continuing your journey. Along the way, you will pass by the Finailsee, a beautiful water feature that provides a serene backdrop to your hike.
As you continue onward, you will reach the Stele information point, where you can learn more about the area and its history. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the Fineiljoch saddle, a natural wonder that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
The highlight of the hike is the Grawand - Croda delle Cornacchie peak, which sits at the halfway point of the trail. From here, you can marvel at the beauty of the mountains and feel a sense of accomplishment for reaching such a high point.
Towards the end of the route, you will come across a memorial dedicated to Heini Holzer, a historic figure in the area. Take a moment to pay your respects before heading back towards the starting point.
