Welcome to the Slettfjellveien hiking route, known for its challenging terrain and stunning views. This 13.722 kilometers long trail offers an elevation gain of 403 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

Starting at Slettfjellveien, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 1.39 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Røkebergtjerna, a picturesque water feature perfect for a quick rest stop. As you continue on, Setertjern awaits you at the 6.86-kilometer mark, offering another tranquil spot for a break.

For those in need of parking, a convenient parking area can be found 6.2 kilometers into the hike. Gortjern and two other water features can be enjoyed at the 3.11 and 6.86-kilometer marks, providing refreshing sights and sounds of nature.

If you're up for a challenge, make sure to visit the peaks along the trail. Kulerudåsen is located 1.29 kilometers in, while two other peaks are within reach at the 1.05 and 0.68-kilometer marks.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, allowing you to take in the beautiful scenery once more.
