This hiking route in Einachstraße offers a super easy trek through the beautiful surroundings. The trail starts at Schneckenmatt parking area, where you can easily park your vehicle. As you begin your hike, you will come across the Ententeich water spot, providing a serene atmosphere along the way. Further on, you will reach the Pavillon shelter, offering a nice resting point with a distance of 0.42 kilometers from the start.
Additionally, you will pass by the Flößermuseum parking lot, where you can find more information about the area, although it is slightly off the main trail. Along the way, you will also encounter various benches and historical city walls, such as the Prälatenturm tower and Gengenbach Kinzigtor.
As you near the halfway point, you can take a break at the fountain located 0.7 kilometers from the start. The route then leads you to a viewpoint at 0.42 kilometers and offers a refreshing fountain at 0.01 kilometers from the start. Throughout the hike, you will find several benches to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
This out-and-back trail is relatively short, spanning 1.943 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it suitable for all skill levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, as there are limited facilities along the way.
