Located in a beautiful natural area, this moderate 5.175-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings while getting some exercise.
Starting your journey, you will pass by the Passo del Durone, a natural saddle located at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will find two picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.59 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte San Martino, offering panoramic views of the area. Make sure to visit the Quadre information point at 2.17 kilometers and the San Martino wayside shrine at 1.6 kilometers for some interesting insights into the history of the region.
Along the way, you will also encounter several viewpoints where you can pause to admire the scenery. As you make your way back, take a moment to visit the ruins of Ruderi cima Monte San Martino at 2.55 kilometers from the start.
