This hiking route will take you through the beautiful landscape of the Neubergalm area. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at 1407 meters above sea level and reaching the destination at 1901 meters.

As you start the hike, you will pass by a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and pack plenty of water and snacks for the trip.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will find a restaurant where you can stop for a meal or a quick break. Further along the route, at a distance of 5 kilometers, you will reach the Neubergalm alpine hut, offering accommodation for those looking to extend their stay in the area.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter multiple historic wayside shrines, adding a cultural element to your hike. These shrines are spaced about 1 kilometer apart from each other, providing an interesting insight into the local history and traditions.

After a challenging but rewarding hike of approximately 11.6 kilometers in total distance and an elevation gain of 537 meters, you will arrive at the Neubergalm destination. Here, you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape and relax before making your way back along the same route.
