This hiking route will take you through the beautiful mountainous area surrounding Rifugio Tommaso Pedrotti. The trail is approximately 10.9 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1048 meters, making it a difficult trek suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across an information point located right at the beginning of the trail, providing you with insights about the area. Approximately 2.45 kilometers into the hike, you will find a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.
Midway through the route, at around 5.45 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio Tommaso Pedrotti, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The hut offers accommodation services and is open from June 20 to September 20. Just a short distance away from the hut, there is another information point for hikers to gather more information about their surroundings.
Further along the trail, at 2.67 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Castelletto dei Massodi, a natural peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the area. As you continue, you will also pass by Croz del Rifugio, another peak that provides a different perspective of the landscape.
For your convenience, there is a drinking water station located 2.92 kilometers into the hike, allowing you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated throughout your journey. Additionally, there is a parking area available at the trailhead for visitors arriving by car.
