The trail starts at a parking area near the trailhead. As you begin your hike, you will pass by Grand Grimond Leissè restaurant, offering a chance to grab a meal or snack around 2.9 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, about 2.4 kilometers in, you will come across another dining option, Lo Baoutson, located right on the trail for your convenience.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col de la Pierre, a saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. As you continue on, you will encounter Pointe de la Pierre, a peak with an elevation of 6 kilometers from the start, providing a rewarding panoramic vista.
