This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and easy terrain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels. The total distance of the route is approximately 2.237 kilometers with an elevation gain of 111 meters, so it is relatively short but offers a good workout.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a convenient parking area (P2) just 7 meters from the trail. About 670 meters into the hike, you will find a cozy biergarten and restaurant called Meierei Bödele where you can stop for a refreshing break or a meal. Continuing on for another 450 meters, you will reach the Lankhütte alpine hut, which is a great spot to rest and take in the scenic surroundings.

Along the way, there are also amenities such as drinking water points and information boards providing interesting insights about the area. Be sure to check out the Weißtanne information point at the beginning of the hike and another one further along the trail.

This out-and-back route is relatively easy and can be completed in under an hour. As with any hike, it is important to bring water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
