This hiking route will take you to Älpele, a beautiful alpine hut located in a picturesque area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 5.588 kilometers and an elevation gain of 151 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will pass by parking area P2, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 2.63 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water source to refill your bottle. Further along the trail, at around 2.26 kilometers, another drinking water point is available.
At the 2.39 kilometer mark, there is an information spot with useful details about the area. Additionally, benches are scattered along the trail, providing places to rest and take in the scenery. You will also encounter a wayside shrine and more information points as you continue on your journey.
At the halfway point, approximately 2.79 kilometers, you will reach Älpele, a charming alpine hut where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. It is a great spot to refuel and take a break before heading back.
