This hike takes place in the beautiful area of Sentier des Cheminées de Fées. The trail is 15.9 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 810 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. It is estimated to take around 5 hours and 42 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by a picnic site at the very start. It is advised to bring enough water and snacks as the trail can be challenging. There is also a shelter close to the trail at 0.61 kilometers, which can provide a place to rest if needed.

Midway through the hike, at around 6.51 kilometers from the start, hikers will find the Cabane de Chaude Oreille, a wilderness hut that offers a unique experience for adventurers. Continuing on, at 7.95 kilometers, there are the stunning Cheminées de Fées rock formations, a must-see attraction along the trail. Nearby, there is also a viewpoint for hikers to enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, at 0.08 kilometers from the start, hikers will come across the Maison du Bois information center and La Fresquière information point for some additional insights about the area.
