This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way. The hike is considered super easy with a distance of 0.87 kilometers and no elevation gain.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the East Lot parking area before reaching the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, located midway through the hike. This serene water feature is a great place to take a break and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Continuing on, you will come across the Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller Monument and the Eli Bates Fountain (Storks at Play) at the same location, adding a touch of art and culture to your hike. Nearby, you can also find shelters and an artwork featuring the William Shakespeare Monument.
As you make your way back, you may encounter various attractions such as the Japanese Macaque, African Penguin, and Giraffe. These animal attractions provide a unique experience for hikers of all ages.
