Welcome to Obere Schloßstraße hiking route! This super easy trail offers a picturesque journey through the beautiful area, perfect for a leisurely stroll surrounded by nature.
As you start your hike, you'll come across Hammerparkplatz, a wheelchair-friendly parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at approximately 0.19 kilometers from the start, you'll find the stunning historic Schloss Schwarzenberg castle, with limited wheelchair access.
Along the way, you'll encounter various facilities such as Parkplatz am Ottenstein and several benches and fountains for a quick rest and a refreshing break. Make sure to check out Schwarzenberg-Information for any additional insights, located at around 0.07 kilometers from the start.
Although the trail is super easy, it's always a good idea to bring water, especially as you venture to Café am Markt and Janny's, a bit further away from the trail. Additionally, Melek Döner and Café Piano offer sustenance options midway through the hike, perfect for refueling.
As you continue on the trail, don't miss out on the panoramic views from viewpoints like Zum Drachen and the Werkslok memorial. For some local history, visit the memorial at Ottenstein and the intriguing Weihnachtspyramide attraction towards the end of the hike.
