Welcome to the hiking route on SR251! This easy 2.384-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a peaceful retreat into nature with a total elevation gain of 101 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 48 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Osteria Val Montanaia at the beginning of the hike, where you can take a quick break and grab a bite to eat. As you continue on, you will reach the parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before beginning the trek.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the ruins of La fornace della calce di Borgo Potiti, offering a glimpse into the historic past of the area. Further along the trail, at about 1.17 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

At the end of the trail, located at approximately 1.19 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint that provides stunning panoramic views of the landscape. Additionally, the Centro visite Parco faunistico is a great spot to learn more about the local wildlife and environment, located about 0.67 kilometers from the start.
