Lamadugh Hiking Route Description:

Lamadugh is a popular hiking destination known for its stunning viewpoints and natural springs. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 14.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1330 meters, making it extremely difficult in terms of difficulty.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by Il Forno, a restaurant, and Southern Souls, another eatery, within the first few hundred meters. As you continue on the trail, about 7.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Around 2.71 and 2.59 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter natural springs where you can refill your water supply. Further along the trail, at approximately 4.74 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter known as "Cave" for hikers to rest and take shelter if needed.

At the midway point, approximately 5.63 kilometers from the start, you will find Shepherd's camp, a campsite for overnight stays. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by Kanyal top boulder and another viewpoint for more spectacular views before reaching the trailhead.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks. Check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
