Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a journey filled with historical and natural wonders. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. Just 0.06 kilometers from the start, you will come across Machu Picchu Control, providing essential information about the site.
Continuing along the trail, at around 0.32 kilometers, you will find Ciudadela de Machu Picchu, an archaeological site rich in history. Nearby, you can also explore Tumba Real and Puerta de la Ciudad, offering insights into the ancient civilization that once thrived in this region.
Around 1.05 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Puente Inka, where you can marvel at the engineering feat of the Inca bridge. Additionally, Restaurante Buffet Tinkuy offers a perfect spot to refuel before your return journey.
