This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Jardín Japonés de Santiago, located along Avenida Abate Molina in Providencia. The trail is considered super easy, with a distance of approximately 1.046 kilometers and an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by "Aparcamiento Parque Metropolitano de Santiago," a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Around 0.08 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a natural water source, followed by "Divertimento Chileno," a restaurant situated 0.11 kilometers from the start.
Continuing on, you'll encounter several benches, informational points, and additional water sources along the way. At the halfway point, approximately 0.52 kilometers from the start, you'll find "Estanque de la Tortuga," a scenic pond great for a rest stop.
Near the end of the trail, at around 0.52 kilometers, you'll reach "Jardín Japonés de la Amistad," a Japanese garden that serves as a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. As you make your way back, take in the sights of "Farol Yukimi" and "Rafael Elizalde Mac-Clure" memorials, adding a touch of history to your hike.
