Welcome to the hiking route at Haideralm - Alpe della Muta - Graun - Curon Venosta! This trail covers a distance of 12.589 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1022 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. It is an out-and-back route, starting and ending at Haideralm.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. Be sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike, as there are no restaurants along the trail until you reach Hotel Lamm at the end of the hike.
Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. Approximately 4.22 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source and a wayside cross. As you continue further, at around 4.32 kilometers, there is a historic wayside cross for you to discover.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 4.37 kilometers, you will reach Haideralm - Malga San Valentino, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Additionally, at 4.4 kilometers, there is a shelter available for hikers to rest.
As you approach the end of the hike, approximately 6.29 kilometers into the trail, you will encounter three water sources, providing a refreshing stop for hikers. Just before reaching the endpoint, at 6.29 kilometers, there is a drinking water point available for refilling your water supplies.
To enhance your hiking experience, there is a viewpoint and a bench at 1.48 kilometers into the trail, offering stunning views and a place to relax.
