This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning Sbirii area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is approximately 12.9 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 1381 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous and demanding adventure.

As you start the hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Baciu alpine hut, Cabana 7 Crai, and Tămaș alpine hut, offering opportunities to rest and refuel. Further along, at about 3.79 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Șpirla shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on, at around 3.45 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a natural spring, providing a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate. As you make your way towards the midpoint of the trail, you will reach the La Om peak at 5.97 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the area.

Pushing onward, at approximately 4.76 kilometers into the hike, you will reach La Zaplaz, a rock formation and viewpoint where you can take in the scenic views before heading back. As you near the end of the trail, you will encounter the Refugiul Saua Grindului shelter at 5.65 kilometers and the Căldării Ocolite peak at 6.28 kilometers, offering a final challenge before completing the hike.

Due to the length and difficulty of this route, it is essential to bring an ample water supply, snacks, proper hiking gear, and be sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
