Located in a picturesque area, the hiking route to Centro de Naturaleza Cañada Real offers a super easy trek that is perfect for all skill levels. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at Calle Galarza.
Along the route, hikers will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find convenient parking areas, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the journey. As you make your way through the trail, you will pass by a wheelchair-accessible restaurant named Casa Vieja, where you can take a break and enjoy some food. Further along, you will encounter a wayside cross, adding a touch of historical significance to your hike.
Midway through the trek, there is a drinking water station to refill your bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, you will find a rustic restaurant called La Cuna, where you can take a rest and grab a bite to eat.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 0.44 kilometers from the start, you will reach Centro de Naturaleza Cañada Real. This nature center offers a unique experience, providing educational insights into the local wildlife and ecosystem. Although it is not directly on the trail, it is worth the slight detour to visit this intriguing destination.
