This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the breathtaking area of Kieneck. The 19.342 km trail offers an elevation gain of 1335.0 meters and will take approximately 7 hours and 48 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Kieneck peak. Along the way, at 0.02 km from the start, you will come across an information point that provides insights about the area. Continuing on, at 2.05 km into the hike, you will reach the Sonnwendkogel peak followed by the Kieneck peak at 9.67 km. The trail also passes through the Ortbaueralmsattel saddle at 3.57 km.

Midway through the hike, at 6.69 km from the start, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your ascent. Additionally, at 6.68 km, there is another informational point to learn more about the surroundings. The trail is also dotted with informational points at 6.72 km, 6.75 km, and 6.71 km, offering interesting facts about the area.

The route is an out-and-back type, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back. Make sure to carry an ample water supply, snacks, and suitable hiking gear.
