This challenging out-and-back hiking route to Morro Regalls covers a distance of 11.26 kilometers with an elevation gain of 647 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 13 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area near the trailhead.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a water source and a mill pond located 0.38 kilometers from the start. As you progress on the trail, you will encounter another water source at 2.43 kilometers from the start.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Morro Regalls at 5.63 kilometers from the start. The summit offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there is a rest area with a drinking water fountain and a restaurant located at the start of the trail for hikers to replenish their supplies.
As you continue your hike, you will pass by "el Collado," a saddle point at 5 kilometers from the start. This is a great place to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back.
Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to wear sturdy hiking boots, carry plenty of water, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
