This extremely difficult 17.942-kilometer circular hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Ciucis area. The hike includes an elevation gain of 1034.0 meters and is estimated to take about 6 hours and 44 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by several points of interest along the trail. About 1.82 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Hotel Carnia, a wheelchair-accessible restaurant. Continuing on, at 2.78 kilometers from the beginning, you'll come across a drinking water source and a bench for a quick rest.

Around 3.08 kilometers into the hike, you'll pass by Piazzale Stazione Carnia, a parking area, and Bar alla Lotta for some sustenance. As you approach the midway point of the trail at 8.71 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Monte Ciucis, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape.

For hikers looking to refuel, there's also Bar Posta located 3.19 kilometers from the start. Additionally, a fountain is available at 3.08 kilometers for a quick refreshment stop.
