This hiking route in the Peña Blanca area offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With a total distance of 17.87 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1394 meters, this circular route is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure to come prepared.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find parking areas nearby to leave your vehicle. As you begin your journey, the first point of interest you will encounter is the Ibón de Asnos, a beautiful natural water body located 6.03 kilometers from the start. This spot offers a picturesque setting for a rest stop and some stunning views.

Continuing on, as you trek further along the trail, you will reach the Refugio de Sabocos at around 4.77 kilometers from the beginning. This wilderness hut provides a cozy place to take a break and refuel before tackling the rest of the route.

As you progress, you will come across peaks such as Peña Roya and Peña Blanca, both offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. These peaks are located at 8.21 and 8.63 kilometers from the start, respectively. Be cautious while ascending these peaks due to their steep nature.

Along the way, you will also encounter various amenities such as pubs, restaurants, and cafes including Cervecería Cobaxo, Restaurante Peña Blanca, and Cafetería Mozart. These establishments serve as excellent spots to grab a bite to eat or replenish your water supply.
