This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to Cima Cesta, offering a challenging adventure with a distance of 14.427 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1678 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 7 hours and 32 minutes.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will embark on a journey through the breathtaking wilderness. Along the way, you will come across Malghetta, a wilderness hut located at around 1.99 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.
Further ahead, at approximately 5.38 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Bivacco Malga Cavai, another wilderness hut where you can rest and recharge before continuing your ascent. As you trek onwards, you will reach Passo Della Nana, a saddle point at 6.46 kilometers, offering stunning panoramas of the surrounding landscape.
While trekking through the challenging terrain, it's important to stay hydrated. Fortunately, there are several drinking water points along the trail, located at various distances from the start. Additionally, there are picnic sites and BBQ spots where you can take a break and enjoy a meal amidst nature.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Cima Cesta, a peak situated at 7.21 kilometers into the trail. The panoramic views from the summit make all the effort worthwhile.
