This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful Pico de Castanesa area. The trail covers a distance of approximately 10.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 915 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you'll find "Parking Ampriu" conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.16 kilometers in, you'll come across a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and refuel. At around 0.14 kilometers from the start, you'll also find "Cafetería Ampriu" if you need a snack or drink before continuing on.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the stunning peak of "Tuca de Pusolobino" standing majestically at 4.46 kilometers from the start. Make sure to take in the breathtaking views before heading towards "Collada de Basibé," a saddle point around 2.61 kilometers from the start.

Finally, your destination, the impressive "Pico de Castanesa," awaits you at 5.44 kilometers from the starting point. Explore the peak and soak in the panoramic vistas before making your way back along the same route.

Given the length and elevation gain of the trail, this hike is considered difficult. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting off.
