This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Pico de Castanesa, offering stunning mountain views and a challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is 10.887 kilometers with an elevation gain of 915 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 48 minutes to complete.

Starting at Parking Ampriu, you will begin your journey and soon come across Cafetería Ampriu where you can grab a quick bite to eat before continuing on. About 0.16 kilometers in, you'll reach a cozy picnic site perfect for a rest break.

As you make your way further along the trail, at around 2.61 kilometers, you'll come across Collada de Basibé, a scenic saddle point offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The trail then leads you to Tuca de Pusolobino, a peak located 4.46 kilometers from the start, where you can take in breathtaking views of the landscape.

Finally, the highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Pico de Castanesa, a peak located 5.44 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy unparalleled views of the surrounding area before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
