This hiking route takes you to the Mirador de Alixares, starting from an area near the Alhambra in Granada. The trail is an out-and-back type, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back.

Before starting your hike, you can park your car at one of the several parking lots available such as Aparcamiento "La Alhambra" P2, P3, P4, or P1. Remember to check the fees and websites for more information. If you're hungry before or after the hike, you can grab a meal at El Membril or Jardines Alberto restaurants. Don't forget to stay hydrated, and refill your water bottle at one of the drinking water points along the route.

As you begin your hike, you may pass by the Polinario cafe before reaching the Welcome Visitor Centre where you can gather more information about the area. The trail also offers a lovely viewpoint at Mirador de Alixares, where you can take in stunning views of the surroundings.

The total distance of the hike is approximately 9.58 kilometers, with no elevation gain. The trail is relatively easy in terms of difficulty due to the flat terrain. It is recommended to bring enough water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
