This challenging 11.224-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Les Rousses. Starting at the parking area near Les Rousses, you will make your way along the trail, with the first point of interest being the Restaurant des Rousses, located 0.11 kilometers from the start. Here you can fuel up before continuing on your journey.
As you hike further, you will come across a drinking water point located at 5.61 kilometers from the start, just before reaching the Cabane des Audannes alpine hut. This cozy hut, nestled 5.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, offers a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Along the way, you will also pass by the water point located 4.77 kilometers from the start, providing you with a refreshing break during your hike. Additionally, there are informational points at the beginning of the trail, offering insights into the area's history and wildlife.
With a total elevation gain of 720 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers.
